fash•ion (fash-uh n) | love all

Although you may not be a sports lover, you might love sports in another way.  I personally think that there's a lot to learn when putting together outfits based on sportswear (and no I'm not talking about things you wear to the gym).  There are some sports that inspire actual everyday outfits.  For example, equestrians have been wearing riding boots over their khaki riding pants years before Ralph Lauren perfected the look...or even before Shirley Long sported the look in one of my all time favorite movies Troop Beverly Hills.

In my case, tennis is a sport  that I not only love to play, but one that continuously inspires me to create new outfits.  There's something about pleated skirts, polo shirts, head gear and the color neon green, that has a soft spot in my fashion heart.

Unless you consider shopping a sport, I can't relate. I just can't. LOL. :D

I love the peach and turquoise-y/teal-y combo. And that dress looks so comfy. I need to get some comfy things into my wardrobe fast. It's so hot here... and it's hard to look cute, when you're sweating like a pig. tee hee!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Tab.

I always thought tennis players had the coolest outfits to choose from...although since Lululemon has come along, yogis have a good choice now too :)

I love the turquoise sandals. The perfect touch!

Love your dress color paired with the shoes! You look great!

I don't usually wear looks based on sports unless it's sports team colors :) But I like your tennis look!

I LOVE this outfit, woman! The colors are amazing, and you do look appropriately tennis-y. And the location is quite new and different from your wall. :)

I have to admit, I love sports, but I don't generally dress at all in sporty wear unless...well, I'm doing sports. Whether it's tennis, soccer, surfing, kayaking, whatever, I keep those clothes for when I'm on the water/court/field. This is good inspiration for thinking differently about that, though. Thinking now...

I love this color combo! I don't know that many sports inspire me. But I like nautical things, and maybe sailing is almost a sport? Nah.

Super adorable! Love the colors! And I think fashion is definitely present in golf and tennis...whether the fashions sold are actually "fashionable" are debatable, but there is definitely a market.
