fash•ion (fash-uh n) | jason wu for target

So aside from last Sunday being Super Bowl, many of us fashionistas also recognized it as the day that the Jason Wu for Target collection launched.  Seeing how I wake up at an un-godly hour even on the weekends, I rushed online to try and snag some stuff.  Even though I had seen most of the collection in ads, blogs and other sites, I still thought there was a chance that I would love everything.  However, to my disappointment the only thing that caught my attention was the signature cat t-shirt.  Even though I had no full intentions of perusing the Jason Wu racks at my local Target, I was already up before the store opened so I went early to go run my errands. I know it sounds crazy considering how many people were lined up outside of the store waiting for it to open, but honestly it was the BEST time to go. While everyone was scouring the Jason Wu racks the rest of the store was empty which made it much more enjoyable for me to shop. This picture was proof that there were some very dedicated Jason Wu fans.

Once I got my hands on the cat t-shirt I made my way out of the battlefield.  I'm not a tee lover, heck I'm not a cat lover, but I'm loving me this shirt.  I can't wait to wear it into the spring.

i honestly really liked a lot of the collection (including your cat tee - so cute), but your photo up there of all the chaos is just further proof to meet that capsule collections like this are just NOT worth it! it seems like no one even cares about the
clothes, just the label! sigh.

anyway, you look adorable :)

Oh that's really cute! I love the commercials for this collection. I haven't bought anything...but I haven't been to Target in a while. ;)

Yeah, I just can't see fighting crowds for lower quality stuff that everyone knows where you bought it and how much you paid for it. However, I FREAKING LOVE your necklace! ;)

That's such a cute tee. Unfortunately, no Target in Canada yet and I used to go to ebay for designer-collaborated items. But people have gone crazy in setting the prices on ebay. At least double the retail price to begin with. So sadly, I will have to pass this time.

You are a brave girl! As much as I adore shopping, I do not want anything so badly that I will be in a pulling/shoving crowd for - but great idea about rolling in there so early just to do some general Target shopping, haha!

You look adorable and you've got this pleased look in your eyes that says "yes. I am still impressed with this deal I got"

The t-shirt is cute. I got the act print scarf, since I am a crazy cat lady.

I still have no idea who Jason Wu is but I really liked the clothes in this collection. My store was sold out almost immediately so I wasn't able to score any of the items. Your shirt is super cute though!

I haven't even had a chance to go to my Target since the collection came out. GAH! I am soooooo behind on the times! Love the tee you got, though, and the necklace you wore with it!

I love that tshirt but you're right, the Jason Wu line was kind of a let down. :\

Cute shirt! I braved the crowds and bought a striped tee shirt dress. Most of the other stuff was a bit too girly, even for me.

Hope to see you soon!

Oh Tabitha! You look so cute in that tee! I saw it but didn't get it - I have too many cute tees that don't get enough love!
