This week I bid you adieu as Matt and I jet off to Amsterdam and Paris...with some trips to Bruges and Lyon sprinkled in there as well. Originally this trip was just scheduled as a luxurious vacation, but now we've coined it our babymoon because let's be honest...who knows when the next time will be that Matt and I get a vacation like this sans child. After August the only types of vacations we'll be taking are places like Texas to visit the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center (which Matt is so ecstatic about having a child just so we can go).
I've been checking the weather religiously trying to figure out how to pack and although it's not the ideal time of year that we would go (weather wise), I'm not going to complain about a trip to Europe.
Unfortunately Matt's limiting me only to one luggage, so it's necessary for me to pre-plan all my outfits. I created a packing list with only a handful of items I can bring and also outlined all the multiple outfits using just those things. Luckily I participated in Kendi's 30 x 30 last year and learned some valuable remixing techniques, so remixing a handful of items for a short vacay should be a piece of cake. Having this list is the perfect way for me to not think about what I'm wearing the entire time I'm there, but sets me up perfectly for day excursions that require a lot of walking around and nightcaps (virgins for me) at fancy hotel bars.
